TOGETHER we STAND , apart we FALL

In a podcast episode featuring @LekzLDN (co-founder of @CapitalMoments), Lekz discussed how collaborations with his friends helped him build the company to where it is today (Link: https://soundcloud.com/riceathome/capital_moments). The platform was created for young people to grow and improve their finances as well as their talents.

In relation to this, I will be going through the power of synergy (working together) as addressed in the book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey.

SynergyThe interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.

Teamwork, synergy or collaboration, regardless of what you choose to call it, is the root of all greatness. The laws of nature make it so, that when we help each other by combining our individual strengths, we compensate for our individual weaknesses and become better together than we would be on our own, making 1+1=3. Crazy right?

The environment we live in is and continues to grow through synergy. For example, a man and a woman come together to create a child and 2 pieces of wood come together and hold more weight together than they could individually combined.

Combining efforts to create a better effect has been known since the beginning of time, and has even been referenced by the Bible in Matthew 18:20 (NIV): “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”This idea has also been referenced by Napoleon Hill in Think & Grow Rich as the ‘Mastermind’ due to the power created as more than one mind unite.

Question/Action Time
